Membership Information
Mandala-Making is FUN ...and the process of mandala-making can enhance learning, help resolve conflicts, and relieve stress! I have found the process so rewarding for just the mental-health benefits that I wanted to find SOME way to network the information to be of benefit to all.
What began as the simple need to share these benefits has led to this project. I decided I would start with what resources I had .... and begin! The project could start small, and still be effective, or so I believe. I was interested in establishing a sense of community where we could begin a process to explore what peace looks like in action. I knew many could benefit from learning how to use mandalas in their own lives, too! So I decided to form a collaboration of peace-seeking humans willing to step into the circle of making mandalas about peace.
Mandalas 4 Peace Membership
When you become
a supporting member of Mandalas 4 Peace, you have joined a community of humans
actively questioning how to bring more peace into their lives, and the lives
of others.
Members may submit images of their own 'Peace Mandalas' in our Mandalas 4
Peace Gallery. There, they may share with the world their evolving concepts
about peace. Each member is granted the space to publish three different mandalas
in the gallery -
1. Personal Peace Mandala - This mandala expresses the current symbolic view
of peace held by the member.
2. Cultural Peace Mandala - This mandala expresses the current cultural perspective
of peace held by this particular member.
3. Teacher of Peace Mandala - This mandala expresses what this member would
like to teach to others about peace.
Mandalas may be created using ANY medium. Each image submitted for publication
should be sent electronically if at all possible.
Members may choose to participate in various discussion forums, schedule live chats to discuss ideas about peace, and network with other members to create local Mandalas 4 Peace Events. See instructions for these activities on the Welcome New Member Page.
Mandalas 4 Peace Membership is ONLY $7.00 per year!!!!
Yes! That's right! For only $7.00 per year you can support this mission of PEACE! You can get involved wherever you are, and begin to creatively network with other peace-seekers and have fun making mandalas, too! This minimum membership fee goes to support the web space needed to begin the project, at a minimum cost to participants.
